Came out to this call to take a look at the toilet that had a poor flush. The toilet is more than likely original to the condominium gave a couple different solutions of what we can do. We can install a western round lowboy toilet or we can install a premium Kohler toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The shut off valve will need to be replaced Due to the fact of how old it is and it looks like it will not turn off in order for us to do that. We need to turn off the water to the building. However, the valve to the building is very old. It is a gate valve style with that in mind. I would recommend calling the HOA before proceeding with any work due to the fact, if we turn off the water and the water does not turn back on the homeowner next-door will be without water and the homeowner that we would be replacing the toilet for would also be out without water until Tuesday at this time and it’s just an estimate only for the water heater and the toilets
Reroute kitchen drain from wall thru floor , new Prv , membership discussed and signed up
Main line blockage upon arrival. Customer stated his wife put a lot of food scraps down the line and now the toilets and drains are backed up. Informed customer we could run our cable down the line to attempt to clear it. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Ran cable out 50 ft and cleared blockage. Ran camera behind to ensure the line is clear all the way to the city tap. Allowed water hose to run in line for 5 minutes and the line did not back up. Line is flowing properly and no longer backed up upon departure
